The Royal berkshire Strut is a local branch of the Light Aircraft Association, formerly the Popular Flying Association. We are based at White Waltham Airfield near Maidenhead.

We are a group of local enthusiasts who promote safe and economical operation of recreational aircraft. We support the preservation and operation of vintage aircraft, the encouragement and training of recreational pilot skills, promotion of opportunities to experience aviation. We encourage and help those who build and maintain their own aircraft.

We run an active programme of aviation events, including talks, outings and community projects to encourage affordable aviation, particularly for younger people.

We promote safety in all aspects of the Strut's activities.
